Balham FC was formed in 2011 in order to provide player progression into open age football for the hugely talented, high achieving age group teams of Balham Blazers FC, which was founded by Greg Cruttwell in 2001. In 2017/18 Balham will be playing at Step 5 in the CCL Premier Division. Having begun on Wimbledon Extension, before moving to Cobham, Balham are currently ground sharing with Colliers Wood United at their Wibbandune Stadium.

The Balham FC Reserves will play in the Surrey South Eastern Combination, Intermediate Division 2. The Balham FC Youth team will be playing in the newly formed Combined Counties Youth League. The Balham Panthers FC Womens team, formed in 2014/15, will be playing for the third season in the Greater London Womens Football League Division 2 South.
