To say it’s been a strange season to date is an understatement. We started like a train, winning our first five games, but have since stuttered and stumbled, with the odd exception, until the last two games when we’ve looked in top nick again. Had we not thrown away winning positions a number of times we’d have a lot more points on the board, but there’s nothing we can do about that now and there’s no point in looking back, except to try and learn lessons from any game management issues. We come into tonight’s game against Banstead Athletic, who we welcome to The Wibbandune, looking for a third win on the bounce. With our visitors flying high though and in formidable form we know full well that anything less than our best will not be enough.
