FROM THE DUGOUT – 16 NOVEMBER

It was a misty night at The Wibbandune on Wednesday but we emerged victorious against a strong Banstead Athletic side, which makes it three wins in a row for us. There is barely time to eat and sleep however before we’re back off the A3 Southbound again for a second home game in a week against Guildford City, who we welcome to the Metropolis this afternoon. Rest and recovery are clearly the most important factors for our players, who will need to be fresh and fully fit if we’re to have a chance of making it four wins on the spin. I’d like to put in a special mention for our Club Secretary, Jennie Molyneux, who undertook at least eight different duties at the Banstead game. To say she’s worth her weight in gold is the understatement of the decade.
