Having started the season like a train, winning our first 5 games in all competitions, we’ve followed it with an equally bad run of results. The margins have been fine in every game we’ve played thus far. We haven’t taken anyone to the cleaners and the matches that we’ve lost have been games we could have won. Losing becomes a habit though, just as winning does and it’s important that, despite disappointing losses of late in the FA Cup, FA Vase and the league, we don’t feel sorry for ourselves. It’s time to roll up the proverbial sleeves and work hard to get back to winning ways. We welcome Abbey Rangers to the Wibbandune this afternoon, who we first met back in the Surrey Elite League, before both clubs won promotion to the CCL. Abbey are currently flying high in the league, four points and two places above us and we know that we’re in for a severe test. I hope you enjoy the game.
