Balham FC was formed in 2011 in order to provide player progression into open age football for the hugely talented, high achieving age group teams of Balham Blazers FC, which was founded by Greg Cruttwell in 2001.

The Balham FC Reserves will be playing their second season in 2018/19. Formed to provide a good standard of football for players in the Balham senior squad and to give younger players in the Youth team, on the new Balham Academy College programme and in the age group sections of the club the chance to play senior football, the Reserves will be playing in Intermediate Division One after being promoted from Division Two.

TEAMS-YOUTH02 2016-7

Balham’s first season in the CCL Youth League was a successful one. After seven seasons in the disbanded SYL, during which time we won several Cup and League victories. The squad, most of whom have come through the club’s age group system, played some excellent football against strong opposition last season. A number of the squad also featured for the Balham First team in the SEIFL.

After a strong finish to the season, the end of 2018/19 saw a few changes in the Panthers playing staff with some popular faces departing and so the summer and pre-season was heavily focused on recruiting and adding to the squad
